The VII^th World Congress has been a great success and we want to express our warm thanks to Cristina Flores, to the Organizing Committe and to the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP) for the quality of the organization of the Conference and of the festival.

IUTA VII^th Word Conference took place in Puebla (Mexico) form June 2 to June 6, 2008.

Figures about the VII^th World Conference:

• 9 scientific sessions
• 2 panels : panel of Mexican Playwrights, panel of Mexican Students
• 40 scientific papers
• 12 presentations

The University Theatre Festival that took place during the Conference included :

• 14 performances from 9 countries and 200 university theatre artists and conceptors.

Globally, 350 persons from 22 countries took part to the Conference.

4500 spectators attended the festival.

Le VII^e Congrès mondial de l’AITU a eu lieu à Puebla (Mexique) du 2 au 6 juin 2008.

Le VII^e congrès en chiffres :

• 9 séances scientifiques
• 2 tables rondes : table ronde des dramaturges mexicains, table ronde des étudiants mexicains
• 40 communications scientifiques
• 12 présentations et témoignages.

Le festival de théâtre universitaire accompagnant le congrès a rassemblé :

• 14 spectacles de 9 pays regroupant près de 200 artistes et concepteurs de théâtre universitaire.

Au total, 450 personnes ont participé au Congrès, en provenance de 22 pays.

4500 spectateurs ont assisté au festival.
